Circumcise Men! Lose the AIDS but Keep the RAPE! I mean c'mon. It's not like there's rampant spread of aids due to people just fucking without condoms and foreskins a flying. It's spreading due to a whole lot of poverty, superstition and rape.

It's a study of men in africa fucking and seeing how many get aids without a foreskin as opposed to with a foreskin.

I would like to read this study.

Researchers announcing Wednesday's results in a conference call from the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda cautioned that circumcision should be used only as part of a broad prevention strategy, and they emphasized that its effect is limited.

In each study, thousands of men were recruited and half were circumcised. Both groups were counseled, urged to use condoms and routinely tested for HIV. The study found no significant difference in the sexual behavior between the two groups, yet they contracted HIV at sharply different rates.my emphasis

In Rakai, Uganda, among 4,996 men, 22 of those who were circumcised and 43 of those who weren't contracted HIV, a difference of 48 percent. In Kisumu, Kenya, among 2,784 men, 22 of those who were circumcised and 47 of those who weren't contracted HIV, for a difference of 53 percent.

The protection was less than reported by the South African study, which estimated that circumcised men lowered their risk by about 60 percent, but higher than that provided by most potential vaccines under development.

But if the procedure was offered widely in countries with high rates of HIV, it might prevent "many tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of infections over time," said Kevin De Cock, director of HIV/AIDS for the World Health Organization, speaking on the conference call.

So what was the sexual behavior? Maybe I'm in a different racist vein, believing that african countries are rife with rape. It is what I keep hearing about and which doesn't seem to change, but I have to admit I don't recall the countries names well or have a clear idea of geography and borders but do a google search on uganda and rape and kenya and rape. Looks like I'm hearing that AIDS is being spread by rape.

So you gonna chop of a piece of the penis and tell these men, whose sexual practices you know about - although I hope none of them ever were rapists and simply got their 74 cases of aids (both groups) by too many gin and tonics and the happy girl at the end of the bar, who didn't know she had AIDS either and it is all just whoopsy look what happened!

I bet if people stopped getting raped and men stopped raping then the AIDS cases would drop a lot. On top of that what if we made sure condoms were everywhere. Maybe that would have stopped the men with or without foreskins who got AIDS.

How about that study, a control group of safe sex people. How many of them got AIDS?
